Thank you to The Cheesecake Factory Galleria location for providing me with a holiday season lunch.
It’s hard to believe, but the holiday season is already upon us. For our family that means decorating, gift shopping, and plenty of time spent with loved ones.
And while it’s great to sit down for a few special home cooked meals with family and friends during this festive time of year…with all the hustle and bustle it’s also nice to go out and have a delicious meal with no fuss or clean up involved.
I’ve always been a fan of The Cheesecake Factory (because who DOESN’T love cheesecake?) and they recently invited me out for lunch to try some of their tasty items including the most AMAZING holiday inspired cheesecake.
The Cheesecake Factory prepares over 250 items fresh daily. With so many options, there’s sure to be something everyone at your family holiday gathering will love.
The holidays are all about celebrating and what better way to do that than with a delicious cocktail? The Georgia Peach (pictured above) is a great choice if you love a sweet and flavorful beverage…seriously, it was SO good.
I also tried a Strawberry Daiquiri which is a nice selection if you’re more of a drink traditionalist. Plus, it just looks so pretty with the strawberry on the glass.
I began my meal with an appetizer that, when I read the description in the menu, I found myself very unsure about. But I went out on a limb and tried it despite my hesitations. YOU GUYS. Get the Fried Mac and cheese. Get several plates if you’re taking the whole family out to dinner. It is so flipping yummy. Honestly…I stuffed myself with this before my entree ever came, which meant I took a good part of my lunch home in a box because I couldn’t stop eating this.
Speaking of entrees, the Herb Crusted Filet of Salmon with Lemon Sauce was an absolute dream. And I would have likely stuffed myself with the whole plate had I not already been a little crazy about the Fried Mac and Cheese (it was really that wonderful…I’m telling you).
Another lunch option is the Shrimp and Sausage Pasta. I’m allergic to shellfish, so I did not personally try this item…but my best friend who attended lunch with me assured me it was quite tasty.
Of course, I know what you’ve been waiting to hear about this entire post…and that’s the cheesecake, right?!?
If you only have one piece of cheesecake this entire holiday season it really should be the Pumpkin and Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. Not only do they taste of fantastic holiday goodness in every bite (YUM!) but for every slice of these flavors sold, The Cheesecake Factory will donate 25 cents to help feed hungry Americans in the communities which they operate. So, you’re being good to yourself while doing good as well. It’s a win win!
If pumpkin isn’t your style I’m here to tell that the Lemon Meringue Cheesecake is pretty amazing too.
