My trip to Disney World with Jackson in March was so incredibly magical. One of the things that I believe helped to make it that way was that I decided NOT to live behind my camera on this vacation…and instead be a more active part of it.
I decided to trust the wonderful PhotoPass photographers in the parks to capture our vacation memories by purchasing Disney’s Memory Maker in advance of our trip.
Disney’s Memory Maker is a worthwhile investment for your next vacation because it is the best way to capture priceless memories from your trip.
If you purchase Disney’s Memory Maker at the advance purchase price it’s just $169 (a $30 savings). It’s important to note that if Memory Maker is purchased at the advance purchase price, any photos taken within 3 days of the date Memory Maker is purchased are not included and must be purchased separately.
I feel that Disney’s Memory Maker is a great investment because you can have unlimited photos taken throughout your vacation and then get downloads of all of them upon arriving home.
The PhotoPass photographers do such an incredible job of capturing magical moments. I love that on this trip we have awesome posed shots, but also some really tender captures of Jackson meeting some of his favorite characters.
You get shots from some of your favorite rides too! I am so IN LOVE with this one of us riding the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
To make the most of your Memory Maker purchase, I suggest stopping every time you spot a PhotoPass photographer in the parks to take a photo. Often, the photographers are super sweet and willing to help you capture the shot of your dreams (I’ve always wanted one of me holding the famed Mickey balloons, and now I have it!).
The more photos you stop to take, the more memories you’ll have to cherish for years to come. Plus, this ensures that even if some of them don’t turn out perfect, you’ll also have some you absolutely adore.
I cannot express how freeing it felt to me to not have to worry about grabbing my camera at each character meeting on this trip. I know that some parents don’t mind being behind their camera on trips, but it was such a nice break for me this time around.
The best part is that you can edit the photos and add frames and effects before you download them all. They have editing options that include themes for just about every character…and even the specific Disney Parks.
If you want to step out from behind the camera on your next WDW vacation, or if you’re just looking for a great way to capture all your vacation memories in one spot, then I highly suggest you purchase Disney’s Memory Maker before your next trip.
